Does anyone have a suggestion on how to raise the seat on my sxr 700 to be more suited for a taller rider. I already installed a 3.5 bar riser and I really dont want to buy something different, but I need some extra height

Thank you, I did see that one but it looks like a lot of work. I am looking into a boss seat but they are 400 dollars and I paid a little high for the sled already 2300 dollars with 1800 miles. So this is why I was looking for something on the cheap.

It's rather fast to make the wedge...that is besides the over nite wait for the expanding foam...lol
I made one for the srx and it was a huge improvement in ride comfort for me...less knee bend and a rider forward feel. Bought a boss seat off here and now have that on the srx, but i put the wedge on the sx and the little woman even likes it better than the stock seat height...

Someone is selling a used boss seat in the classifieds. I think that's probably your cleanest looking option. Also you'll probably be able to either sell your seat for $200 or save it and put it back on your sled when you sell it, and than sell the boss seat for what you paid for it (they don't go down in value) Either way you really won't be spending as much as it sounds like.
