Hey guys! On my 1982 440 SS
Are the torsion springs used on both sides of the skid made of EQUAL diameter round stock, or is the drivers side (L) made of smaller diameter round stock than the passenger side (R)
I have two new springs (Yamaha OEM) with the right part numbers, but they are made out of different diameter round stock.
Seems like something is wrong, but maybe not?

I would think that they should be the same size stock.
same diameter on the 81 i am working on.
perhaps an optional spring for heavier riders?
