I love this seat, I don't want a new nytro anymore. It makes feel more in control of the sled. Works better for doubling to. Alot of money but well worth it IMO.
I have BOSS Seats on our sleds also. One problem I have is the LED light. I am going to change to an incondesant sealed light. The LED gets snow covered to easily. As for the BOSS seat. I much prefer the new riding position. However, it is slightly cooler riding. Al

how is the fitment? There were some other guys complaining that the fit up around the tank was poor.

For me, I don't have an issue with the fitment. The ride and feel are so much better than the extreamly low OEM seats. This is an opinion, and as you know everyone has one and some are different. You should try to locate a machine which has a BOSS seat installed and try to test drive. Al
I am not a fan of the new look, and the fit but love the feel of the seats. I miss the first version I had with the ball deck. It kept you centered better. The new seats look like they are taking a sh^%(*&%^(*
I would have to say, the machine does look shorter. But so does the new Rush from Polaris. Al

Love my new Boss and as far as the fit; once I trimmed down the foam (PITA), it fits much better...great looking seat IMO. 
Boss seat on my Mt Viper is one of the top mods I did to my sled. Mine is one of the earlier custom jobs Boss used to do. It fits very snug. But I do admit wrapping that holder around the gas cap is a weird design that doesn't provide too much function. Boss could have done without that....
