These are lightweight SRX/SX trailing arms that are 6.6 pounds lighter than the stock arms. They are heat treated aluminum providing incredible strength. These bolt up to the stock radius and tie rods or can be used with the entire light weight suspension kit, also offered by CB Performance Parts. These come in a raw aluminum finish.

Any one has experience with these? Would they be worth the money?

I'm not spending the money right now, but I am looking for a sliver color trailing arm, left hand side. One last ride at night, shields icing and a buddy hit an ice break, got thrown off the sled (no bodily damage) but the arm has a good 3/4-1" bend in it. Oh well. BTW new spark plugs and plug caps did the sled lots of good.

i would put the set as they are lighter than the stock ones. i had the kit on my sx500r and my brother has it on his viper. viper kit was used from ebay but both kits are very good. the only weakness they have is the hein joints break instead of the arm bending.

I think I have a stock arm purchased off e-bay for now. Midwest is getting up to couple of feet of snow tomorrow and we want to get as much riding out of it as possible.
Thanks for the info. I think much maintenace and adjusting will be done right after the season on this sled. I definitely consider using this light weight kit.
BTW did you get the polished ones or the rough surface ones? Just wondering how they look.

we got the polished ones.

pics are from the 09 ty ride. they are still on those sleds. the viper one was picked up used on ebay.

only thing i would recomend would be to stay with the stock steering rods for trail riding. my brother bent the ones on the 500 by pulling on the skis to get unstuck.
