looks like the ski may have taken a bump and the steering arm put some stress on the splines... damaged spindles are something I've seen before... I have 3 spares in my parts bin..
of course this is just a guess because the photo focus is so bad it's hard to see even the spindle...
can you provide a better photo? tj

It may be out of focus, but it looks bad. I have ripped off an entire side of a suspension twice and not seen a spindle that bad.

Looks a bit blurry but also looks a bit stressed too. Like it was a little loose to begin with and then your ski has been hitting some rocks or something.
