I wanted to try and find a shorty Pro XR seat to mount on my viper like I have seen on other posts, but I couldn't find one very cheap. I've seen a lot of guys selling the standard Cat M series seats online so I picked up a new one cheap and thought I'd try and mount it this weekend. I built a wood riser of about 4 inches and mounted it onto the sled. It is amazing how much difference a taller seat makes. I feel like I just bought a new $10K sled and only invested about $200 total in the project. Here are some pictures. It was actually a pretty easy project, but did take me most of Saturday. I do not consider myself a craftsman by any means, but I accomplished what I set out to do.
