I Sent all 4 of my 2002 Viper shocks to Bruce at Pioneer Performance (NY) in late summer. He revalved and rebuilt/recharged them for me and sent them back in a timely manner. Excellent price on the set of 4 also . (no one locally in WI. could come close to his price.
I can not tell you how Happy I am with the fantastic job he did for me. My Viper has never ridden this well ,since I bought it, (which was new in 02) The original ride/shocks sucked,(very Stiff) then I had the Yamaha Factory -alternate shock package installed and that was somewhat better, but the way Bruce set up these shocks is fantastic. If anyone out there is looking for a revalve and rebuild, I would highly recommend sending them to Pioneer Performance ! They got the revalve totally dialed in for trail riding. Thanks Pioneer Performance !
