RSR 2" plastic riser kit / SPX grip heater kit

Hi, I'm thinking about putting an order into royal distributing, and I had some questions about the RSR 2" riser kit and the SPX heated grips.

RSR riser -It is the 2" plastic one: will this work on my 97 vmax? Are they durable?

SPX grips - Will these plug into my existing stock wires? I am also getting the SPX thumb warmer.
