SRX Drive axle bearing

does anybody know the part number for the drive axle bearing for a 98 srx im looking to find an alternative bearing rather than right from yamaha?? Im short of time and wont have a dealer to stop at! If it is a 6205 brg i can get it at an auto parts store!

just make sure the one you get has rubber seals. I know of other brands using a metal seal on thier sealed bearings & they don't last long down in the snow. The yamaha bearing is a very good unit.
 
like RKSXViper700, I use Fafnir or Timken for that. I posted this in another thread:

I use Timken or Fafnir collar lock for that and the jackshaft. I think it's about $24. this is the part number for the drive shaft: rae25rr . fyi, the one for the jackshaft is rae25rrb (rounded outer race). Make sure you get metric ones... the other appears to fit, but it's a little too big and comes loose (learned by accident). With the collar lock, you don't have to worry about the set screws letting go. I ordered mine from the local Canadian Bearings store, but do a search online for other dealers.
