I’m looking for advice from those of you who have owned piped Vipers. I have looked through the many forum posts and have read a great deal of conflicting info on jetting and subsequent horror stories. I have a Viper 700 with Simons CPR triple pipes. The jetting is pig rich…I just ran the sled in Upper Michigan and was getting at best 6 mpg struggling to make it to the pumps…not good!! I was wondering what jetting you guys are running with Simons pipes? I was thinking about trying: 47.5 pilots, 150 mains, 2.5 turns on the fuel screws, clips in the 3rd position (stock) and vented to the atmosphere. I am looking for a reliable, tried and true setup that I dont have to worry about, is this it? Also, just curious what mpg were you getting?
Thank you
Thank you

That sounds a little lean to me on the needles and mains but im not an expert either
does your sled gurgle between 5and 6 grand I'm askin cuz I run cpr pipes on mine and don't no how to get rid of it...
150 seems very lean. I run 160,162,165 mains with 50 pilots and 2 1/4 turns out on the air screws. I have different pipes (speedwerx triples) but this seems to work for me. I also have vforce too. As for mileage, usually get about 80-90 miles per tank, and that's riding hard.

that's because your carbs are vented to the airbox, so those 160+ mains are correct.
