have a 2000 SXR 700 that i can't get to idle or run right for that matter. when i first start it on full choke the idle jumps to around 3500 grand, enough to engage the clutch. after a few minutes and getting the choke off the sled will eventully bog down and die out if i don't keep it running with the throtle. ive run it for around 1/2 an hour just beating it around the house and it back fires quite a bit. as soon as i stop it wont idle. just dies out. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, clean the carbs before you burn down that engine!
