Hey clutching gurus-

I am running a P85 on my Yamaha. Where should i go with my tuning now? Sled seems to run awesome off the bottom, but at about 8000 rpm it falls flat on its face, and you have to stay in the throttle, and it will finally keep shifting.

When looking at the primary, there is a "burnt" ring on the primary about 3/4 shift, where I figure the belt is slipping in the primary.

What could cause this and what could fix it? I have adjustable heavy hitters, that are loaded to ~56 grams, (i have to pull apart to get exact weight where) but they are loaded 48 gram base, i the 3/4" allens in the heel, and the mid has twice as much weight as the tip. It pulls the 9000 rpm (my target) when it starts and ends the shift, just not at about 3/4 through the shift. Primary spring is a 100/340. I have a 120/310, and a 165/310 here sitting on the shelf.

I ran it against a '08 Skidoo Summit 154 800 today and we were neck and neck.

My secondary is setup with 45 degree helix, stock green secondary spring wrapped at 70. Newer belt (3-400 miles)

Here is a picture of what the clutch looks like. Notice the dark spot about 1/2 to 3/4 way up the sheaves?
