phazer wont shut off with the key?

so the other night my trusty old phazer quit on the way to a place to eat. we towed it to the store, becuase we were close. it would just turn and turn and not start. after it sat a wile it fired right up and rode home fine. now it wont shut off with the key or the kill switch. i had to pull the plug wires. i there must be a broken ground wire after the switch? does anyone know how the key grounds the engine? wiring diagram?

all you need now is the throttle to get stuck at 70 mph..like to see you open the hood at that speed and pull the plug wire...lol

don't really know why that is happening for you..others may chime in who are more electrically inclined.Check for a loose wire or connection..
