Been outta the game for a few seasons & forgot what I should be turning. I know he must have done a ton of port jobs on here so someone knows. Stock is what for a 99...like 8300. With the trail port does this change? I thought it was more, but really can't remember. Thanks.

Trail porting does not change your required rpm or at least on my Viper he told me to keep it at stock rpm. Your shift out should be at 8500 rpm according to the chart.

uhhhh, trail porting CAN make you need to turn your motor faster.....if the exh port has been raised, and/or your exh port time area has been increased, you'll more than likely find that you will need to spin that motor a few hundred rpms more, depending on how much the exh area was increased. if the exh port has been left alone, you wouldn't need to spin the motor faster, UNLESS your running pipes meant for higher rpm, but then again, you'd probably have the exh port worked over to match the pipes and then be spinning it faster.
