This thing flys. My name is george and i just got an 02 viper wednesday. We got out on the trail today. My riding buddy has a 99 formula 3 700 with 2400 miles. My friend paul weighs 180 pounds i wiegh closer to 300 and my son who is about 90 pounds was on the viper with me. Dead even launch i pulled hard and was still pulling at 60 mph. Mind you this is with my son on the sled with me. Very impressed only thing on the viper is 4500 clutch (previous owner told me) other than that nothing. The formula 3 has a clutch, pipe and jets. Just bragging on my new sled, great site here, the gentlemen i purchased from steered me here. Glad to be aboard, happy and safe sledding to you all.

Welcome aboard. Be careful with that son aboard.......I would hate to see him fall off!!

congrats. if you have an overheating issue, install a rear heat exchanger. c&a pro skis rocked with my viper.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. This sled has the heat exchanger on it alady the previous owner put it on. It also has an egt gauge and the reverse added, as well as a tempa flo and dual carbidevskis thiugh i am unsre ofnthe manufacturer. Wife road it all day today she loves it. I think i may need to get another one because im not going to get mine back lol. Btw the boy rides in front of me he is safe as can be!

careful with the tempa flow, I hear they can be finicky. otherwise, glad to hear you are loving it!

I am seriously considering finding a triple piped viper or doing the srx pipes on one over the summer. The wife loves it and the boys do too. I was looking up the laws for nh and it looks like my oldest can not go out alone on a trail until he is 14. I definately need another sled just not sure what to get!

remember that in NH you will get a ticket for ANY mods to an exhaust, and they are cracking down on it pretty well now. you might ge away with srx pipes, but anything else will be loud enough to attract attention. but man, to do all the work to get teh srx pipes on there and then MAYBE get a ticket, may not be worth it. either way, enjoy
