just bought my first sled. took it out for first time and it would bog down when giving it throttle. after a few minutes it started to run good, but then after a few more minutes it started bogging down again. also, tach stopped working, don't think problems are connected. any info would be appreciated. thank you.

I agree, clean your carbs right away (see the tech section). It could also be the wiring harness rub-thru under the engine that is famous on Vipers. The harness runs under the engine on the Recoil side, and is famous for rubbing thru and causing shorting out issues on the dash unit. Do a search on "Viper harness rub thru" and you will learn everything you want to know on the issue.
