Hi guy's,

I Have a srx piped with aaen, vforce 3 and 1.5 track. I Have build a used heelcliker ki it's a sts 2 40-10. And I have an helix 48 - 34. But i'm a rookies in clutching and I don't have any Idea where to start. How much weight to put on the top middle and the tips to make the first test.

Do you know the helix 48 34 have a good angle My type of ride is agressive trail and acceleration.

depending on the brand, that angle is pretty week. i would start w/stock red secondary spring at 70 deg, 4.7g heel, 2g middle, and 4g tip.

For my taste that is way too weak. I think you will overrev badly unless you have a pretty soft spring in the secondary and/or tall gearing.
I would load the tip as possible and put nothing in the middle and then try.

A '00-'02 srx w/stock pipes, from my experience, likes 8500. But, you have aaen pipes, which if I recall like 8700-8800. There is a smart fellow on here, that goes by the name of "SideShowBob". Try contacting him, as he runs them pipes and could tell you what rpm works the best.

I'd use a 50/40 dalton in a SRX with 40/10's if I had a choice.

Bingo, good start choice on helix. you also would never run a srx above 8500rpm with any aftermarket pipe unless you ran a cdi box to match the pipes.

On a stock SRX run the Aaens at the same RPM you would run with the stock pipes.
So for a 2000/01/02 SRX run 8500RPM.
I run just under 8700 RPM on mine but I have advanced my timing to do so.

a 50/40 dalton helix probably measures around 48/38 or 46/36 actual. i know for a fact, that a stock srx 700 will pull a bender 51/37 (measures 51/38 actual).....works great. the dalton helixs are pretty weak cuts. you would be leaving some upshift capabilities on the table the dalton helix IMO.

I have a stock piped 00SRX W/ some slight mods. I'm going to be testing this weekend W/ my HC set up. I'm following MrVipers700 sugestions I'm running a bender 50/36 helix geen wraped at 70deg on the secondary, and for the primary I'm running 15.6 rollers 6.4 heel nothing in the middle and 5 on the tip using the red hc spring. I will post the results on how it felt and how I tuned tuesday next week for ya.

15,6 mm rollers and 6,4 gram in heel? Did you check that the washers on the heel bolt do not touch the rollers when the clutch closes? I had to grind them down and I have 15 mm rollers.

Yup I bought some long S/S allen heads and used small S/S locking washers for clearance. I have been using this setup currently W/O clearance issues. You should be able to go as big as 15.6. I'll get some pics of that too for ya on tuesday.

Ok look at this picture do you think it's dangerous too install this heelcliker kit because it's have a small crack on the rivets oll the top parts

And you think it's not a good idea to try the 48 - 34 helix the better choice is too order a 50-40 helix and make test with the 50-40

-I don't know bout the crack, but dosen't look hard to just replace the rivet. If not I would just make sure the material and rivet type are the same.
-As far as the helix goes just from the reading I've done most guys like to run shalower finish in the mid 30's. But once again it's all about testing and finding what you like.

Ok and this is he good models of heelcliker or the bad because in some tread I will read of bad model of cliker ?

And I would receive a dalton 50-40 helix tomorrow this is good ?
