Any way to unseize a non-rebuildable shock? Sled sat for YEARS now the back won't move... Felt like taking it out, but not ready to get a new shock yet....

Even if you get it to move it will probably leak anyway and be screwed before your first ride is over.IMHO you might just as well find another one now and save some labour.

I think you're right. I see the Yamaha replacement is like $350 for the 1987 Yamaha, there are Kimpex gas for like $90, anyone ever use these? How were they?

yeah, I dont think it will last, but if you just wanted to take it for a ride, that would get it free.

I can pick the back end up and drop it without a budge, maybe went a little further down but never rebounded. I just feel like taking it for a little spin, planned on going through the whole skid over the summer...

if you just want to try it, pb blaster, and make sure you hit ALL the pivot points, it might not be just the shock thats stuck. what sled is it? pics of the skid??
