Hey guys, I wanted to see some times(with stopwatch) and speeds (on radar) to compare to my sled, please list your times and speed and specs here, this is on groomed snow track, not ice, no studs, or grass or pavement and for 660 feet only. (please be truthful, no exadurations)
I'll start, last year I only done 8.8 seconds at 70mph, not so good, mmax 700 with bender triples

My 500 did 64mph last year on a packed surface. Hooked up great that run! Even when I spun, my speed was about the same, but ET sure loves good hookup.

Got around 70-74 mph on radar on a stock 2001 MM 700. (low altitude)
Couldn't get a ET though.
I can't figure out this sled, it pulls like crazy up to 65 mph then crawls up to a top speed of around 85.

Tim, have you marked your clutches yet? Make a wide stripe from centerline to the edges on both sheaves with a black marker. Make a top speed run, and see how your shifting out. This can help other to make recomendations if you're willing to do some tuning...

I ran a 7.6 in 660' @ 88 mph on a timmed race track with staging lights and speed trap. I ran alot of times , but that was my best ET. That was on my RX-1 that was clutched and 1.25 track.

My 92 Vmax-4 runs low 80's on a packed snow track, full timing setup. I don't recall my times. I raced amateur stock, non studded, multi pipe 800 class, and won. I picked up 192 studs, so it will be interesting to see the difference.
The Vmax-4 flat out smokes my Viper in drag race.

Those are some pretty impressive 660' times. (I raced in a timed (full tree setup) amateur trail stock/trail mod event ran by COSDRA and no one was even close to those times).
Do you have any pictures of your monsters (1287) engine and NOS setup?

Srxxtreme, Them are good times! I don't think you can get those times on a soft snow track. On a timmed curcuit, the race track gets chewed up as the classes move up so times get slower later in the day for us bacause we can't move the start line.
If you can bring your fleet to Longlac Ontario drags and pull them times, you can come out of there with $15000-$20000 in prize money. Thats if you can pass the tech booth I won't tell anyone if you have mods in stock class
Its a good time if anyone can make it!
