Wondered if there was anything out there to drop the skid lower out of the body of the machine to give more clearance. I had ordered the ones from cb performance but they must be just for a stock sled and not a mountain viper which is what I have. Thanks

Check Hartman Inc. also, possibly Fabcraft might have some.

I made my own out of 1/4"x 4" aluminum flat. Cost me 20 bucks for the material.

I made a set also, will send you some pics if interested in a cheap set. Pm me if interested.
I tried the ones from CB performance but they are shorter then the factory ones on the viper mountain. Are there ones for a mountain or is that as high as I can go ?

My mountain viper had drop brackets from new. I thought they came with them.

I made my own because I have a hybrid setup (Nytro XTX skid in a Mtn Viper). However there are a number of offerings. Do a search for some of my posts about this on here and on snowest.
Thanks
I was just looking for some longer drop brackets then what the mtn viper comes with stock.

Timbersled and Kmod make ones that might give you the drop you need. Actually Kmod will make whatever size you need. I simply made mine out of 7075-T6 for the plate, and 6061-T6 angle for the brace. I used a 3/4" flat bar for a spacer on the outside edge of the running board to bolt the brace on. My mount point is 6 inches out of the tunnel, so I was concerned with strength.
