Trails were fantastic this past Friday. By noon saturday they were HIT and with the exception of trail 35 towards Cadillac and a part of 344 we could not find a groomed trail again until Monday morn. Hit it hard on Thurs and Friday or you will regret it! LOTS of wknd warriors
Trail 35 back into Cadillac Saturday night was like 13 miles from h$$ll. We seriously thought about just abandoning the sleds and walking in. 
Did find a few nice trails though. Definitely a mixed bag. The lake was fun if you enjoy riding jet skis. I was afraid to slow down after getting stuck out there on thursday right after the big snow. One of the first sleds on the lake and there was a foot of slush and water under 2 feet of snow.

Now all those slush ruts are frozen & like riding over rocks.
we rode Trail 3 from Baldwin to Irons and over to the Udell Hills trails Friday. BEAUTIFUL is all I can say. We stayed off trail and rode South on Saturday. Tried to make it down the mogul masher PM trail and ended up taking State up to 35 on Sunday afternoon out of Luther. You would think they would groom that sometime Saturday night? They groomed Friday night and left it F***** until Sunday night between Baldwin and Reed City. We hit 35 freshly groomed and it was like glass on Sunday.
