Synchronizing carbs

Hello again, another question, I cannot find any info on synchronizing my 2001 MountainMax 700 triple. There looks to be an adjustment for #1 and #3 but not for #2? I would like to do it properly with a mercury gauge(I already have).

Synching 2 stroke carbs with mercury gauge is not accurate. #2 is the preset carb, open throttle so slides are at top of opening, & set slides 1&3 to match #2. All slides even at top of carb bore, that's about as good as you're going to get.

its been awhile but i think i always used an 1/8 inch drill bit as a feeler gage to sink the flat slides...... insert under the bottom of the slide in the carb bore.
