This low life needs a good whoopin, a little court action wouldn't hurt either. If you can offer any info please call.

$500 Reward - Sanilac County Poaching Incident
On the evening of December 27, 2010, a Conservation Officer with the Department of Natural Resources and
Environment (DNRE) responded to a complaint that a snowmobiler had chased down and then ran over a deer
in the area of Aitken and Kilgore Roads in southeast Sanilac County. Witnesses reported that they observed the
operator of a yellow Skidoo snowmobile chasing deer around in a field and then running a deer over with the
snowmobile. The operator left, but returned a short time later and tied the deer to the snowmobile and drove off,
dragging the deer behind the snowmobile. The officer investigating the complaint followed the snowmobile
track and drag marks approximately 13-miles, to the corner of Galbraith Line and Black River Roads, where the
deer was found dumped at the intersection. Tracks from the snowmobile were last seen heading east on
Galbraith Line Road, east of the Black River. Anyone with information about this incident or the operator of
the snowmobile is encouraged to contact the Report All Poaching (RAP) hotline at 1-800-292-7800.
In addition to the reward offered through the RAP Hotline, the Thumb Area Branch of the Quality Deer
Management Association (QDMA) will add an additional reward to the available RAP reward, bringing the
total cash reward to $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the responsible party.
The QDMA is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization dedicated to ensuring a high-quality and
sustainable future for white-tailed deer and white-tailed deer hunting. Among other things, the QDMA
promotes safe and ethical hunting, an adherence to wildlife and trespass laws, cooperation with wildlife
biologists and enforcement officers, and stewardship and appreciation of all wildlife.
The QDMA Thumb Area Branch has established a Reward Fund to assist the DNRE with the solving of specific
game violations involving Whitetail Deer. For more information, or to contribute, call 989-479-9497.

what the f#%k is wrong w/people these days? i'd love to tie that low life to the back of my srx and drag him accross a lake at 100mph and see how he likes it. first i would have to run him over w/my 192 studs and airate his skin a little first.

what a jackass. Bad enough he's he's on a ski doo, but to run over a deer then drag it 13 miles, just to dump it. I don't like to even see a deer when riding. I hope like hell somebody reports him. Wish I knew him, I could use $500.00.

This is what can really hurt out sport, Idiots like this should be forever banned from snowmobiling and put in jail. But just after they themselves are chased around a field and run over by a his own snowmobile. This should be also televised and the complete story of what this idiot did to recieve the punishment. I love seeing wildlife in the woods, in fact when we see deer or such we usually stop and watch. Why would someone do this?????? Al

I dunno how the heck do you run over a deer with a sled ????Like is it even possable to do that?If it was laying down i quess. He is lower than no life if he did it but i think its a story.

I've seen close calls with deer and sleds and one collision with a doe and dirt bike. We had to kill the deer rambo style with a multi-tool blade (a wounded, whaling deer you don't want to hear twice). Won't go into details but it was hurting. My buddy broke a collar bone and two ribs. On a powerline hauling the mail and it came out of the woods and he t-boned it in the middle of the day. Called the DNR and tagged it.

Was riding behind another bud and as he turned around to check that everyone made the turn, a yearling doe jumped in front of him and managed to turn around just before my bud was on her. We stopped further up the trail and my buddy was clueless until I pulled a chuck of fur from his right side spindle. He never saw it.

I'm sceptical too but can see how a heartless prick could make it happen. Deer are low on the food chain as in "deer in the headlights" so even a toothless wonder could outsmart a freeked deer.

Senseless, cruel and bad for the sport.

Yea if it's the same one that was reported here on the local news a week or two ago.

what i cant figure out is the deer must have been small or the snow was deep and it couldn't run fast because them deer can fly and out run/out turn a sled i know don't ask.(younger days).
