Does it matter if an electrical accessory is tied into the electrical system before or after the load control relay. I need a good 12v source. The place that is easiest to tap into is schematically before the relay, but I don't know if it is wise to to do this.

it'll work, but, the accessory will always be in the circuit (unless you have a switch to turn it off).. this just means you'll be pulling a little harder to start the sled because the magneto is now trying to power up said accessory at start up...
what kind of accessory?.. too much load is bad... don't overload the magneto.. tj

It's an Ohlins Monoshock controller. There is a 5 amp fuse on the power lead put it should pull nowhere near that just to turn on the controller. It will draw more when changing the shock dampening. Is one of the reasons Yamaha has the load control relay is so the sled is easier to pull over?

the sole reason is to ensure full power is given to the ignition when pull starting the sled... as a spinoff, this makes it easier to pull... your shock controller should be ok... tj
