Skydog,
I don't have one on mine but I believe it should have a bracket for each side. do a search on "dogbone" tons of info.

Are you talking about the torque eliminator for the engine. If so there are brackets needed for each end that do not come on the Viper engine.
I went and found a 2002 SRX on the fiche. look for the fiche called something like "Engine Bracket."
You need part #'s 15 - 23 for the whole SRX Dog Bone Mount. Check this out: http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=69733&highlight=motor+mounts
Or just go to your dealer and buy the Viper Torque Limiter kit. It's part # SMA-ENGIN-ST-AY. It's in the Yamaha 2011 snowmobile accessory catalog. This kit also has all the same parts as the entire kit for SRX dog bone mount.
The directions are non existent that come with the kit. If you search around here on TY, there are some posts that will help installation, but aren't perfect. I just sort of had to wing it. The kit mounts on the other side of plate behind the clutch.
