Idles fine (except for 3 second idle hang). After riding it will settle at 1,800 RPMS. If I shut it off and restart, it will stick at 1,500 RPMS. Normal? The real issue I have is if you blip the throttle from idle, there is a millisecond bog (not a miss or hesitation, just a bog). Runs fine after that at low, middle and high RPM. Pulls to 8,500 and then sticks there or falls back to 8,300. Everything is stock. Was thinking of running some Seafoam into it. What else should I do as the sled is 3 hours from me so I cannot get into the carbs until after the season?

have you ever had your power valves cleaned or adjusted? If you have one that is hanging or misadjusted it may cause this bog. They close the port off to get rid of the bog. It opens to give you a bigger exhaust port. The reason they put the valves in there is because if they weren't the sled would bog. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the input. About a month ago I pulled the PV's apart and noticed the mag cylinder had a pull thru. Replaced the PV, cleaned the other two and adjusted servo as per spec. Still have the low end bog (seems like a rich bog as it doesn't hesitate). The pull thru PV was actually stuck in the closed position so it didn't affect low end RPMS.

Did you use the sub harness to adjust the power valves?

Maybe the other power valves are bad? Ususally once one goes the other two are about to go thereafter. I know you said you pulled them and cleaned them when you put the new one on the mag side. Just throwing out ideas.
Don't think I could get to 8,500 RPMS if there was pull thru (unless they are stuck open). I did pull on each of the wires at the servo motor and could hear them open and shut when it was put altoghether.

Bad rings?
Could be as I haven't tested compression yet. Pretty hard to pull over/turn clutch by hand on all three cylinders, but I could check the compression to verify. When I had the PV's out, I looked down the slots and didn't see any signs of blow by.

Doesn't sound like a power valve or ring issue at all, sounds like a lean bog. The idle hang is a sign of lean on the idle circuit. Can you blip the choke and the idle comes down? Either the pilot jets have some blockage or it isn't rich enough on the idle circuit. I'd start by cleaning the pilots out, and then check where the fuel screws are set at. Spec is 1-1/2 turns on a SRX I believe, so if it's set there I'd open it to 1-3/4 or 2 turns and see how it reacts. If you find blockage in the pilots, then leave the fuel screws where they were originally and go from there.
Might be the pilots are plugged. Spec is 1 1/8. I drove under 1/4 throttle one time for 30 minutes limping my sled home after breaking the drive axle, and when I took the plugs out, they were black. That is when I assumed it was a rich bog. Guess I will tear apart the carbs in the spring. Starts fine when cold and warm. After sitting for 3 week in the cold, will start in 4th pull with full choke on, and I can almost immediately flip the choke to off to keep it running at idle. I thought a plugged pilot jet wouldn't allow me to do something like that.
