First post. Got two enticers for my kids this year. Both 340's one 84 one 85 - also got a parts sled. Got the first enticer running like a top after cleaning the carb and cleaning the mouse house out of the air housing. Got the second sled a month later. Cleaned the carb, removed mouse house, new plugs, cleaned air box, ran like a top for three weeks - no problems what-so-ever. Had a blizzard in WI last week. Went out and they were covered with snow overnight. Engine compartment filled with snow. Since then the second sled will not run. brought in and put heater on it and cleaned out snow. cleaned the clutch, checked fuel pump, changed fuel line from pump to carb. took carb back off, cleaned again. blew air through fuel line to tank. will start, but when i hit the throttle it has no power. Got it running, goes a little, then will take off, then it bogs down. Stumped. Checked and repaired wiring that appeared to have mouse bites, all connections good. checked wiring at box under carb, all looks good. Next going to try the coil from the parts sled and the box under the carb. Not believing that will cure it. Any ideas???

I doubt this is electrical related. A bogg is usually fuel/air related. The snow storm could be coincidental, but if you have one machine that is working good, take the carb off it and put on the one that has the bog. Good process of elimination. A bog sound with no smoke is usually a sign of not enough fuel. A babble with smoke is usually a sign of too much fuel. How many turns out from seated position is the fuel/air mixture screw on top of the carb?

Just got it cured. Was one of those "blow me over with a feather" moments. After reading about 45 posts on performance and bogging, one thread discussed belts. I decided to take a good look at the belt, and it was SHOT. Looked good, but was worn about a 1/4 inch from side to side. changed belts with my parts donor sled (looked new) and fired it up. Off like a shot, did about 10 laps around the property and it is running great.
