I am trying to fix a hole in one of my blue body panels. What kind of plastic are these made of?
Did anyone ever try and fix these panels before?

Look up PLASTIC WELDING on your search engine. Different plastics give off different colored flames.
1. Shave off a little bit of hood where it won't be noticed.
2. Light it on fire and see what color it is.
3. Find comperable plastic.
4. I usually repair w/ a soldering iron.
EXAMPLE-
BLUE FLAME MIGHT BE HDPE
ORANGE MIGHT BE PTFE
This is just an example.
