I am aware that all three coils, plugs fire at the same time, and that the coils are connected in series. Has anyone ever tried connecting the coils in parallel, and if so could there possibly be an advantage? It would seem to me that would assure each coil would receive the same amont of current, less resistance to the coil further down line, additionally if one coil would fail for any reason, then the other two would continue to function.
Second question, the fuel line running from the tank to the fuel pump, rises up the left side of the front of the tank, there is a plastic connector, I'm assuming some sort of check valve? What is the reason the hose is run this way?

I'm guessing the stator may be different as well, seems like with the dual headlight setup, and the dual heater thumb/grip controls might require some more juice, although one of the sleds, my wife's we added an electric start to, so there much be some additional capacity to recharge the battery.
