We ran the Baldwin, Irons, Wellston trails this past weekend. We started on Thursday, trails were 100% Friday was another great day. Saturday, we ran two tracks all day, we ran to Ludington, another great day. In 3 days we put on over 500 miles, absolutly no problems. The trail groomers were out, trails were flat and wide. The Conservation officers were out checking permits, again no problems for us. Warm up came on Sunday, we loaded up and headed home. Deep snow on the two tracks, great base on the trails. Al

Was also in Baldwin this past weekend. Most trails were good considering the warm temps and the amount of traffic, specially around Caberfae. By the time we stopped riding Sunday night, about 6pm most of the plowed roads were just about dirt. Trails were holding up good, a few bare spots were there is logging on the Little Manistee trail. Managed 330 miles for Saturday and Sunday. I would guess this coming weekend anything groomed or plowed will be mostly dirt.

We will be in the area on Sunday the 27th, staying in the Bear Lake area. Hopefully it stays cold and we get a little more snow.
Baldwin got 6-7" on Sunday. I was in the White Cloud/ Newaygo area Friday and Saturday and the trail looks great for an ORV! It was all dirt but still a good foot of snow in the woods. White Cloud/Whitehall got 10-12" on Sunday. It's a shame that thaw really destroyed a great base last week. If we only could have got this snow on top of what was already there..............
