OK I broke both of my ski loops on my 98 SRX700 and I have 2 questions.
1. Anybody got a good used set they want to sell? Mine are blue
2. This might be a good excuse to change the skis as mine are stock. The question is which one? C+A? Simmons? Camoplast? etc... There are many choices. I mostly ride the groomed trails and rip across the lakes.

I don't think anyone makes a sh!tty ski anymore. Get whatever 'trips yer trigger'.
I have USIs and have had excellent luck w/ them, so I will more than likely stick w/ them.

I just removed a set of OEM skis with blue loops from my SRX if you are interested. No saddles. I am using them with some USI skis. They have 8" shaper carbides on them that are more than 50% there yet.

just pm'd you
Which USI shis are you using?
Do the stock saddles have to be modified to work?

I was told by USI that any of their skis would fit the SRX saddles since they used to make the OEM skis on the SRX. The only think I had to do was drill the 4 holes in the bottom of the saddle bigger because the studs on the USI carbides are bigger.

USI skis
I've got three different sets that we did this on. Simply unbolt the stock ski bottom (which was made by USI), and bolt on the USI one of your choice. I've only done this on the short spindle sleds with the tall stock ski saddle. Not sure if it works on the short saddle skis.
