The sled will idle at 1300 some days and that when it will only rev to 4000 and just bog, other days if the idles around 3000 i can hop on it and go.I changed the primary clutch , still the same.Disconnected exhaust incase there was a nest, still the same. before if you put it on a stand and held some gas on it, it would eventually pickup and start working right,i could drive it, then if you came to a stop it would do the same thing again. Could this be the fuel filter? my plugs are coming out looking too clean.

i would cheack youre crank seals sounds like youre suckin air to much air an not enough fuel spray some hairspray or something flammable befind youre clutch an if it revs up when u spray it ur suckin air bad lol
i'll check tomorrow the sleds in the woods, the carbs were cleaned previous owner spent $400 having them cleaned and adjusted. If the crank seals are leaking or its getting too much air wouldnt it run better with the choke on?

if there is an air leak..you will lean her out..keep checking plugs for color..don't push it to much until you solve the issue..otherwise "KABOOM!!"

If the carbs are dirty it will run better with choke on. I dont know about the seals.
I'll pull the carbs off tomorrow and clean them just to eliminate that, then i'll go from there.

If one seal is leaking, the choke will enrichen that cylinder but also flood the other cylinder so you may not notice it run from one cylinder to the other. Adding a flammable to the suspect seal/cylinder will make it "run better".
You could also try some engine oil of any kind and drip it behind the clutch at the seal with some vacuum hose looking/listening for a sucking sound as the oil is drawn in.
$400.00 for carb clean and adjust? That's just wrong if that's all he had done.
