I need some help from you SRX guru's. A freind of mine bought a 79 SRX and he wants to trail ride it on the vintage runs.
He is 54 and does'nt want to rip and tear.As he bought it,it engages @ 5600 RPM.Ramps are all ground to sh*t.
We are looking for a comfortable trail set up hopefull with engagement somewear around 3500 if the sled will work at that engagement. He is not concerned with top end.
I thought I would see what someone had before I spend a bunch of time cluthing it.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Paul

YA SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY CUT THOSE WEIGHTS FOR HIGH ENGAGEMENT, ALONG WITH A SPRING WITH STIFF PRE-LOAD, GREAT FOR RACING, BUT LIKE YOU SAY , IF HE WANTS A SMOOTH TRAIL CRUZE, I WOULD GET A NEW WEIGHTS, N-1( 209642A) NOW KEEP IN MIND HERE THE OLD SRX SHOULD BE NO LESS THAN 4000 ENGAGEMENT, OR THEY WANT TO LOAD -UP PRETTY EASY. SPRING HE NEEDS IS A COMET YELLOW (203475A) OR A SILVER (204818A). THIS SHOULD WORK NICE FOR WHAT HE WANTS TO DO. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Never mind Tony I found the weight of them.

Thanks for the info.I'll start with that.

Thanks again, Paul
