I have a 2002 viper and was removing the power valves to clean them, is it unusual to find one really clean and two of them really bad shape, I even had a hard time remving one. My oil consumption is really minimal so it surprised me to find 2 of the valves gooy almost like tar! Just wondering if a fuel problem I am dealing with would affect this Thanks

My Mag side valve is always pretty clean compared to the other 2.Expensive oil is better for keeping the valves clean, but they still should be checked/cleaned at approx. every 1,000 miles or at the start of every winter if even if you don't do 1 k a year..It will run better and will prevent pull-throughs.
