clutching for improved srx


600 or 700.Drag racing grass ,ice,asphalt or speed running?
What disetance?
 
if you know how to get 195hp out of a 700 you will definetly be able to figure out a good clutch combo...thats some SERIOUS H.P.
 
That is the HP that i have. I am having a hard time to put a complete kit toghether. I can get great holeshot and loose at end of get end but no holeshot. I need 9800 but i can only get it to spin 9000?

I know a guy that is putting out 200-203hp w/std 700 bore srx. Its got custom high rpm race pipes, 44mm lectrons (I think that size), high compression (think 110 or 113 octane), porting, head work, case work, and runs it at 10,200.
 
I have 52 gr 8bu in the promary with a bender white. tried 49-46 and a 46-36 helix in it and still cant make it rev
 
Seems you need less heel wieght to rev higher? did you say when it engages?

FUN!!!!!!!! :rockon:
 
Try some 8ca witha hauck orange primary and a thick engagment shim.
47-41 and a hauck silver secondary spring with 19/40 gearing and run a 89l beldt.
That should get you pretty close.
That set up is close to my old Improve 600 it was only 164.2hp@9800rpms but ran in the 5.4's@93MPH range on grass.
