2004 Viper Mountain RISER questions???

So I just picked up a new to me 04 viper mountain (800 mi on it and in showroom shape). Anyway, I have put simmons skis on it and next I want to put a riser on it. I dont want to have to extend lines, so what is my best option or which will work without extending lines

1) 2 inch powermadd riser and snap the tab off the stock bars and tilt them forward.

2) 3.5 inch rox pivoting riser


I put only these two options as this is what my local dealer has in stock and I want to do this before I leave in two days on a trip. So does anyone have info on this?? I am pretty positive the first option will work no problem. I guess I am wondering if I can do the 3.5 with no extending

Hey, I have a viper mountain also and was wondering what risers you went with. I'd like to get some in without extending wires and cables?

I know on a stock viper you can go 3.5 inch riser with no mods. That would leave me to believe you could do the same with the mtn viper.

mtn viper had taller bars from factory, but also had longer cables from factory.

You can go 4" if you want the brake line is a little snug even straightened out but it works so you can do the 3.5" riser no problem.

Thanks for the info guys, any recommendations on what brand to go with? I'm thinking I would like them just a hair more forward as well so the bars don't come too far back with rising them

If the powermadd is just a block, then go with the Rox.

Rox pivot, never had any slipping or problems with them.

I would choose Rox 3.5" also.If you need a riser let me know.
