2002 Viper Discharges Battery/ Electronics Dull Display/ Tach
Doesn't Work/ Headlights Dull Amber/ Runs Fine. Checked Stator
Within Specs / Cant Find Any Broken Wires. Could It Be The Rectifier?

I had a lot of the same issues on my SRX and everyone said rub through. I had no rub through at all, but while looking for the rub through I did one thing that helped. I sprayed WD40 on all my connectors. Everyone knows water and electricity don't mix right. I did this and all my lights work fine now and all the rub through symtoms were gone. It may have been a fluck for me but it worked real well.

had problem with 2002 viper. no tach or speedo. unplugged harness where it connects by hood hinge. the prongs were corroded, i just scraped them clean and gauges started working. hope this helps.
