Finally finished up my 440 SS.
Along with 5000 miles of wear and tear, the end of the tunnel and the seat were mangled after a high speed encounter with an immovable object by a previous owner. I grafted on a tunnel extension and made a "lift kit" When we rebuilt the suspension I fabbed steel brackets that lifted the ***-end 2.5 inches. Gives the sled a modern stance and it rides "better".... and gets off some amazing hole shots.
New Camoplast track from the guys at Tracks USA, not to mention the tunnel extension and the grab handle. They are the greatest!

cool stuff. What all did you do to rebuild the suspension? I may do this to my sled if the cost isn't too much. And where did you sorce the parts? Thanks
How big of a track did you fit under that ss440?
Just wondering how big of a track did you get under the ss?
