that will help some, but there is more you can do to the intake. looks like you may have been a little shaky, and/or using too aggressive of cutters. also, post pics of what you did to the exhaust. that's where you really will make the power. if you want, you can ship the cylinders to me, and i'll go over them for you.

I got a motor with this porting on it and I had to duplicate a new cylinder to match so I could not do much more. but it was smoother than the pic. what type of porting is this trail porting.the exaust was just sanded smooth and a small area cut down by the boost ports. doesn't look to be raised or widened. I do not have pics.

by just looking at the pics of the intake cylinder skirt, no one can't tell you if its a trail port for sure. what will tell you for sure what you have, is dimensions from the cylinder deck, to the port roofs, to then be able to figure out the port durations. i'm going to guess, that your cylinder has some VERY MILD cleanup work done, that won't yeild much of a hp increase. well, i'm still able to go over them cylinders for you.

I have I cylinder that is bad but has this porting. give me your address and I can send it out to you. I will use it as a template for the others when I have them off again. I did not have much time to measure them just wanted to put it together and ride for this year. the r 8dn10 cylinders it also had the pistons ported at the front where the small round hole was.
