I have a 2000 SRX 700, non Ohlins, and the front KYB shock is broken, and the shaft is pitted. It is pretty spendy to rebuild, so I am wondering if I could go to a Fox rebuildable instead. Has anyone done this, and, if so, what size shock would I need. I cannot measure mine, and the entire top eyelet is snapped off of the shaft, and missing. Any other brands that people have had good luck with?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am trying to get this thing back on the trail before the snow melts.
Thanks,

If that doesn't work out for you, I have a center shock out of my '01 SRX that I will sell you. It is in very good condition. I put a Viper skid in my SRX so I don't need it anymore.
