hey guys, Thanks for the comments,
I would be all over that but, 90% of the time I'm carving deep powder, with a snowboard or 2 hanging off the back and it really cuts down my turning radius.
When the front end goes up in the air and I carve, the snowboard can easily drag me down, or I have even rolled the sled depending on momentum and the sharpness of the turn. that's why a lot of that section was just counter steering, there was 5 ft of fresh snow that day ,I only found that spot cause I was getting pissed from digging out SKI-DOO' high-marks and Rev's all morning, so I decided to venture off and that powder lake is what I found, and no way I'm getting stuck well Im out there solo riding.
I just found this location the last time I was out, I will be returning really soon. next time, Im gonna drop off the boards and gas can, and get some donuts.

I live in Minnesota and we don't get riding like that around here. I want to go out west so bad and ride off trail in the deep snow like that!!burnoutink said:hey guys, Thanks for the comments,

My bad man, didn't realize you had a snowboard strapped in behind you. I wouldn't do any donuts at all if I had my snowboard strapped to my sled.

not your bad at all, hard to see the board with the POV camera.
I found out the hard way, lol, snowboards make the sled a lot more unstable.
Its too bad I gotta move into my new place this weekend, I really wanna go back there!!!

sweet vid ! i thought that was an alpine lake you were on, looks like an awesome spot to ride. many years ago a friend lent me his dirtbike and i went for a good ride in the birkenhead lake area - was so much fun - the coastal mountains are so rad.
