I am wondering if anyone could snap some pictures or detail the process of plumbing in SRX heads and water rail on a Viper. Am I going to be ditching the Viper thermostat housing and using the thermostat that is already part of the SRX rail? Is there anything special that needs to be done with the temperature sensor, or is it as simple as plugging in the one on the SRX rail?
Thanks!
Thanks!
make a water rail out of two srx water rails to come out in the same location as the viper head. Use viper head gasket and cut that ammount off then stock heads.

I guess I don't understand what you mean by making a rail out of two srx rails... could you explain a little more about what needs to be done? I was under the impression that a single SRX rail would do the trick...
Anyone???

Little cutting, welding, some more cutting, welding... and you get a Frankenstein Viper...

part of it.
Thanks for the pictures! So completely modifying the rail is simpler than using the rail as is and just getting some different hoses to replace the stock thermostat, or did you need to do that simply because of the pipes you are running?

the outlet on a SRX rail is at a 45* angle towards the handle bars, there isnt enough room under the Viper hood for the hose to be there.
Makes sense... something I would have had to learn the hard way if it wasn't for this awesome site! Thanks again.
