With the season most likely over around here, wondering how everyone's season went!
I put on 700 miles inbetween bog / rubthrough and driveshaft twisted off. It was only a month, but I'd say it was the best season we've ever had. For about 2 weeks it snowed like a foot a day, unheard of here in western Vermont. Trails were incredible, almost too much snow. If you had to turn around, venturing off the trails was a 50:50 shot of getting stuck!
Already getting psyched for next year. Got stranded twice this season, gonna make sure the sled is 100% for next year

First ride out on December 11 ended in disaster. High rate of speed and an immovable object. Sled was fine, but I broke 8 ribs and had a lung fill with fluid. I have to vote for "worst season ever." Only about 100 miles. Phooey.

How's your rehab progressing Tom? Are you expecting a full recovery?

Shortest year since I purchased this sled in 03.Last year and the year before that weren't much better considering we're usually riding by Christmas and still riding well into March. There was only really 1 good weekend this year, but I did manage to get 6-700 miles this year.Could have done more, but don't like trailering/chasing good snow. It' getting expensive enough just to ride from the house.

Great while it lasted, wrote one off, went a month before I bought another one and still got over 1200 miles between the two. Now I see lots of rain in the forecast so it's not looking good...

Recovery is now at about 90-95%. I still wake up in pain if I sleep on the sore rib side and surprisingly, I seem to have random deep breathes. Wife says it sounds like I'm sighing, but it's just a deep, deep breath?! It was my first bad crash in over 30 years of riding (I'm 44 now; you just never know when stupid will happen.)
I'm already working on the dirtbike so I'm planning to be 100% in another month or so.

I put about 650 miles on my Vmax 600 sx all of them were trouble free this year. I spent most of the fall performing some preventative maintenance and it payed off. Out of the 3 guys I rode with this year, mine is the only one that didn't need to be towed back home and it has at least twice the miles theirs have. Its so close to 11,000 I can taste it.

Left 18 inches of snow to ride in 6 for a week. Returned home to watch the last of the 18 inches melt away. Bought a new to me 700xtc. I had a custom seat made for it. Installed electric start and reverse on my other sled. Had 3 inches of snow last night and it is all but gone now. Fingers crossed and hoping for another storm. 500 miles this year and my son is itching to ride. Oh and one blown belt, no damage.

not done yet... going up again next weekend.
If the trails are good, I'll use asick day on Monday.
I've got a good 1000 miles on between the venture, the xc and the indy5.
If I get adventurous, I might break out the indy trail.

Actually World Superbike racing from Australia is on this weekend. Then daytona AMA racing schedule starts in 2 weeks after that. MotoGP has one more test in mid March, then it's on to their season start too.
