By now every yamaha owner of a 99 yamaha equipped with carb heater valve should have been notified if there sled was effected by a valve replacement program.Most 99 liq.cooled yamaha's were affected except someerly build 700's.some carb heater switch valves could possibly allow the valve fitting to fall out of the body and allow a coolant leak. the suspect valves can be identified with by a chrome plated hose fitting. the new style valves all use a brass hose fitting,so identification should be very easy.
