Hey guys,

I recently picked up a new (to me) 02 Viper. I have had it out once so far - I put about 40 miles on it and It ran great. I was just cleaning it up tonight for a weekend trip and noticed the coolant level was a little low. I have never noticed any leaks or the smell of burning coolant.
Anyway, I happend to take the foam off the top of the air box and noticed a small amount of coolant in the bottom. Not really sure what is causing this but I cant Imagine is normal or good. Any Ideas?
Heading to the UP for a week and wanted to take this sled.......not so sure now.....

The coolant goes through each carb when the carb heater valve is on. I would just check all of the hoses for leaks. Also check the other side of the engine. Sometimes the water pumps will leak. There was actually a warranty fix for the impellar seal. I can't remember if there was an official bulletin on it or not. Look it all over for signs of leakage. It helps to run it up to temperature. Be sure to bleed the air out of the system when you are done.
