Does anybody know the stock compression of this engine?
should be over 120-140psi per jug depending on your tester. it will run at 90 psi if it has sat for a few years and go up from there with use.

Sounds about right. I rebuilt a 340 last winter and could only get about 90 psi. Rebuilt another one this winter and got 120 ish.
