has any one swaped there 600 sxr to a 700 before

can i use the same carbs with differnt jetting

I wanted to do that with my 600 also,but ended not doing it.I would think you would need bigger carbs for sure,and all the above you mentioned..can get pricey...may be cheaper finding a used 700 redhead instead.... 
The carbs are bigger on the 700 than the 600. Maybe you could bore your 600 carbs out? IDK just throught I would throw that fact out there.
think maybe just port the heads and call it done is there anyone that i could trust to do a port job???
