hi guy,

I just go back from a test with the gps and I hit 134.7 kph that's suck my f5 have more top speed.
This is normal I have a 2001 srx the motor of powervalve is traveling. I have a set of Aaen pipe vforce cold air intake kit and run a 1 1/2 track

The clutch have a 89a weight and 50-40 dalton helix at 70 deg

I go make a test with the stock helix.

The compression check last week and it will be good

-what track are you using?
-what is your jetting.
-what RPM are you running?
-get rid of the cold air kit...just remove the extra vertical foam that was added on top of the airbox...trust me on this one...Valin's advice and he was right!

Bob

I don't no what is my jetting but I run a 1.5 camoplast crosscountry track I think it's to much for my style of ride I think to cut it at 1 inch.... and put stud for lake run.
I run at 8000rpm but the acceleration peak is 8500 in think it's the good rpm no ??

And I retry with a stock helix and in long hard straight trail I hit 91mph... it's better but I will reach more speed ...

I ran witha Bender 50/40 helix with green spring at 80 with the 8bu10's.I am hitting my top rpm's..but the speed is not there.Only got to 105 on speedo once and after that only 100.You have a 1.5 track,so expect your speed to drop..91 is probably the best you'll get with it.I have a 1" track with 120 studs also

Should do a little better than 91mph, I hit 89 before my pipes on radar in my xtcp with a 1.5 now that im piped I'm figuring 95-100 and I still have less hp than a srx depends on conditions too. Stock speedo is off by a little bit as well as I was doing 145 on speedo before now I'm almost burying it to 180 lol. Try your stock helix maybe

Im not piped nor an expert. However most pipes make power above stock rpm correct? So 8000 rpm sounds way low to me.

2002 Viper (3200 miles) no pipes, Stock except for the Hacksaw and 144 studs and a 54/44 secondary helix, ran 102 GPS at 8700.

And do you have peak rpm or the top is 8700 ?

skimau, I think maybe we have a little bit of language barrier, no offense meant towards you. I have reread your post and maybe some can help here but we need a tad more information from you,
1.) what primary spring are you using with the 89a10 weights?
2.) what rivets are in the holes in the weights? I know you said 52 grams.

you have to turn 8500rpm on topend speed, or your not going to go very fast. I ask the questions on the clutching so we can figure out why your only running 8000 rpm.

don't think that 50/40 is working for you.I tried my 50/40 with green at 80 wrap and she was holding rpms..that is with the 8bu10's.,but no top end speed..maybe 105 speedo once.Wrao that spring to 80 or even 90 with that helix or go back to stock helix and see what happens.I went back to stock setup today at -19 C windchills -30 gave her a few good wot runs.First run at about 100mph the DCS started to flash..so I let go of throttle. At least I know it works as I have not seen it come on for a long time.Dis a couple more runs and DCS stayed off..only getting to 100 again.,wot is 8500-8600..
Got home and checked the marker on the primary and belt is 1/2 " from top..so not shifting all the way out.I have a 47 helix that I cut in the center to allow belt to drop down lower in secondary..will see if this helps.

I have some suggestions:

-install 8 tooth drivers with the 1 1/2" track... I run a 1 1/2" crosscountry on one of our SXs and I had to use 8 tooth drivers to get proper clearance...your track may be rubbing at higher speeds slowing you down and making your RPM drop

-get rid of the cold air kit

-try 152.5 jets with the Aaen pipes and stock engine and NO cold air kit

-run the RPMs at 8500

but When I speed up I reach 8700rpm and drop at 8000rpm in top end

ok, well you have a overshift problem, what springs do you have in the clutch?
