Had these windows cut into the cylinders along time ago. Got to looking tonight and doesnt look to be low enough to really do any good. Looks like the window needs to be about 1/4" lower Its not the best camera angle

maybe slightly in my opinion, because what you want is the rear boost port to trap more mixture as the piston comes down to BDC. You would need to time the area open with a degree wheel on the crank going to BDC. I always like to use the piston, on redheads,they dont come with a boost hole. I make my own port in them to accomplish this.
In the second pic, I have cut those skirts before to be somewhat like what you have, removed the material in the dark grey, this opens up the rear entry point alot,very good gain when you add larger reed blocks.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to see you back on the board. Hope you are doing better. So, I guess what Im asking is would it be worth spending 300.00 for this work in the future? Because that is what I think I pd for that 10 years ago. Also, could you improve from there with out getting to spendy. This is on a MM.
