yep, much later than Y used to release them.
Used to be Y would release the 2012 lineup by the 12-14th or so of Feb.
Don't be expecting anything big besides EPS on Vectors, and hopefully on the venture GT. The EPS is pretty amazing really.
Obviously new paint and graphics too pretty much across the line.

Yeah, I imagine the 2011 apex skis will be on (most) all the sleds now. These skis did very well on the 2011 apex as fasr as stopping darting and will fit on anything else yamaha makes from what I hear. Yamaha fixed the heated grips the other year. Storage, yeah, everyone needs to have that, and follow doo's lead on that. Skidoo seems like the only one that has storage from the factory. The demo fleet had a variety of windshields on them. IMHO, even the low stock apex one was pretty good. The one of the venture GT was almost too much isolation from the elements and I preferred the mid height one that one of the apexes had on it, even for 2 up use.
where?
The 2012 sleds were released today but, where can i find them?

weight apparently is not a spec anyone cares about.

I would think the weight is important especially if the rider himself weighs more than 250 lbs...then would go to another brand that weighs less...and I would weight would be important if one was into mountain or deep snow riding also.

On the flipside though, a bigger rider can muscle a heavier sled around easier. the only people I hear about complaining about "heavy" steering on non EPS apexes are smaller people. Obviously a heavier sled and rider will sink easier in deep snow
